"Mariposa, Mariposa" is the story of the Butterfly who sews herself a fancy new dress. Of course, the beautiful dress makes all of her neighbors - the Pig, the Dog, the Cat, and the Mouse - want to marry her. What is the Mariposa going to do?
"Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Oh!" sing the elves who dance in the forest at night. The kind-hearted poor woman improves their song by adding a second line, "Thursday, Friday and Saturday, So!" The little men are so happy they give the poor woman a pot of gold. But that made the rich woman jealous.
In "No Way, Jose!" the bossy rooster Jose wants to sing at his Uncle Perico's wedding, but he dirties his handsome break eating a red berry. He tries to tell the grass, the sheep, the wolf, the dog, the man and the ghosts to help him, but he always gets the same answer - "No Way,Jose!"
